Our Long Term Player Development Pathway

Successful athletes require time to develop. Regular and consistent practice is central to helping a young athlete fulfil their potential. Another central practice is ensuring athletes can learn, experiment, and be supported in a fun and safe environment.

With this in mind, we have spent considerable time developing our Long Term Player Development Pathway. Our plan lays out clearly what milestones players need to achieve at each age level to develop into a masterful footballer on the pitch. The technical and tactical aspects of the game are developed appropriately over time, ensuring there are no overlooked areas that may hold a player back.

Underpinning these areas is the understanding that a safe and fun environment also provides the opportunity for our players to develop confidence, develop teamwork skills, make friends, and express their individuality as people, not just athletes. 

Junior Academy (6-10 yrs)

Our programme for 6-10 year olds focuses on developing the crucial technical elements of football. Our LTDP provides our players with a highly-structured development program to ensure they can develop confidence and skill with the ball, develop an understanding of the role of every position on the pitch, and begin learning how to play to their best ability in each role.

Senior Academy (11-14 yrs)

Our Senior Academy is for 11-14 year olds. Following our Long Term Player Development plan, this course is designed to prepare our players technically, tactically, and mentally for the demands of 11-a-side football. Our senior players also begin the journey of strength and conditioning training, utilizing individual programming to ensure every player can maximise their physical development.

CNS 121 Coaching

CNS121 has become known as Ireland’s number 1 personal football training program through the hard work and dedication our coaches and players have shown since the CNS121 program began! We specialise in the individual player’s needs and with great attention to detail we feel our 121 environment is the perfect way to speed up development.
