We are delighted to be presenting this brand new Football Coaching Programme for young people. We see this program as an integral part of the very foundation on which we are building our brand. We have a lot goals at CNS 2 key ones for us are to create employment and a new way of football coaching in this country.
In order to do so we need to build coaches and where better to start than with the youths in Ireland. So if you are interested in a career in sports coaching have an open mind and are hard working, this course is for you.
The program is designed for young people aged between 15 to 22 years old. CNS Coaching will drive this programme using football as the tool to engage participants and provide a routine that allows access to social and health benefits.

All educational elements are then linked back to the sporting disciplines required allowing for the development of key skills. Participants have the opportunity to set goals for themselves, no matter how big or small, and are given the support to monitor these progressions.
The programme is held one evening a week between the hours of 19:00-21:00, at our venue unless otherwise specified.

  • A strong interest in Football
  • Aspiration to progress to the next level and become a football coach
  • Drive to work hard in order to gain the skills to do something that you love
  • Ambition for a career in the sports industry in Ireland and further afield e.g. USA

Our goal with our coaches is to:

  • Create a leader mentality
  • Provide good core values
  • Encourage responsibility from an early age
  • Inspire thoughtful creativity
  • Provide structure and organisation
  • Give our players confidence in their own ability
  • This programme is designed to help young people from disadvantaged areas to be included in the sporting industry
  • We aim to help these young people to become employable to organisations in the sporting industry in Ireland and beyond
  • By using football as our tool we intend to engage and alter the lives of these young people who are at a high risk!
  • This programme will be a focal point of education and encourages its participants to go on and further educate themselves

The project has successfully provided sports and educational qualifications and improved the skills of a number of former participants, who have gone on to volunteer for CNS or be employed by the company.

Other participants have gone back in to full time education or employment and many have continued their love of football by representing local affiliated football clubs.

This programme provides a unique opportunity for young people in Ireland to obtain the skill set necessary to pursue a real career in something they genuinely love and are passionate about.

Our Programme is kicking off on Wednesday January 4th from our Bray base at Wolfe Tone Yoth Club.
